Bulletin Boards

Explanation:  Did you know that no matter what humanity goes through, very likely, a priest is going through the event(s) with that group of humanity.   Take a look at our "articles/other sources."  There are priests coping with others through Hurricane Katrina, the war in Iraq, the Virginia TECH shooting, 9/11 and more.  Go to your favorite search engine and type in "priests during" and then fill in the human situation.   Recently, Fr. Joe Corel typed in "homily for Teddy Kennedy funeral."  There was the homily on You Tube given by a priest.  So, just for interest, he typed in "homily for Harry Carey funeral."  Carey was the broadcaster for St. Louis Cardinals and then the Chicago Cubs.  There was the priest's name who had the funeral.  Then, he typed in "Homily for Chris Farley funeral."  A priest friend of Chris Farley, gave the homily.  And, it was a priest who gave the homily at the wife and son of Chris Benoit.   Print these stories out (with accompanying pictures) and place them on a prominent bulletin board.  Priests get to go to and do amazing things all the time.   Let the parish, especially the youth see these things. 

Steps:
1. Delegate someone to be the researcher who finds articles on the internet, and Catholic periodicals, newspapers and magazines. 
2. Write a shorter article or cut out or print off the article and pictures.
3. Post stories on the bulletin board.  4. Keep the bulletin board fresh with new stories.
